Equal to a restaurant gaining a MICHELIN Star, the MICHELIN Keys are provided to hotels that have been specially selected for offering the most outstanding stays.
Vetted by passionate, independent MICHELIN experts taking into account five universal criteria: excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the neighborhood or setting. MICHELIN Key hotels don’t just fulfill one of these criteria. They are the best of the best in all categories.

Playa Viva se enorgullece de haber obtenido la certificación B-Corp con un puntaje de 110, el puntaje de certificación B-Corp más alto otorgado a un hotel hasta la fecha.. Las B-Corp certificadas son marcas con fines de lucro que utilizan el poder de los negocios para construir un sistema económico más inclusivo, equitativo y regenerativo para las personas y el planeta. Las marcas deben obtener una puntuación superior a 80 para lograr la Certificación B-Corp; en promedio, las puntuaciones de los hoteles certificados por B-Corp se sitúan entre 80 y 88.

AHEAD is an annual award for Hospitality Experience and Design. For each category winners are chosen in each region of the globe, then a global winner is chosen from that pool. Playa Viva’s Manta Treehouses were selected as the global winner of the Lodges, and Cabins category.

Dezeen Awards identify the world’s best architecture, interiors and design, and the architects and designers producing outstanding work. Dezeen Awards are the benchmark for international design excellence. Our Manta Treehouses received the award for sustainable building.
