Phase 1 Development
10 Casitas
Casitas are individual suites of either one, two or three bedrooms with bathroom, full porches for living and dining space. Spacious rooms each have a king or two doubles that can be joined as king size beds, with a seating area, desk/work area and closet. Beds are full canopy beds with mosquito netting. All rooms will have a hotel-style security safe, desks, and locally crafted, built-in furniture. Homes do NOT have TV, A/C, mini-bar, or refrigeration of any type (other than a cooler that can be requested from room service).

Amenities are designed to encourage and support our mission of promoting community. The architecture and design promote interaction at meals and activities that encourage community. A balance is maintained between private and public spaces. For example, you can always order room service and dine-in at your Casita, but shared meals are just one of the many opportunities to interact with your neighbours and co-owners, and to create lasting bonds between families.

2 Common Areas
The common areas serve a similar role to those in traditional hotels, with a concierge floor, a lounge for meals, TV, newspapers and magazines, and a bar serving refreshments throughout the day. In your home, imagine dividing the bedroom area (Casitas) from the living room space (Common Areas) where you really hang out and spend family time. The Common Area has served a key role in our other develoment in creating the balance between private and public spaces and in creating community.

The Common Areas also provides a "sleeping porch" to accommodate overflow sleeping capacity for a set of Casitas. Co-owners can use multiple weeks to reserve several Casitas and a Common Area making this the perfect meeting place for all members of your "party".

Beach Clubs
The Beach Club is the center of all action and the main gathering spot for all activity at Playa Viva including the Restaurant, Bar, Pool, Recreation Area, Yoga Platform, Reception and Consierge. Read More
