"Overall Playa Viva really surpassed our expectations and we loved everything about it. It was really important for us to find a place that worked with our rhythm and cultural/social values, (as we travel often and it's hard to find). I could go on about stuff, but really we just liked it all. "

Regenerate
Every aspect of our operations goes beyond low-impact. We'll continue to update as environmental technology advances and our understanding of our environment grows. We will be building to the highest environmental standards, but NOT pursuing LEED Certification, as the Regenerative Standard goes beyond LEED in many ways.  Read More

Permaculture
Permaculture is a way of life that supports itself, the way natural ecosystems do. It relies on sustainable agriculture, and living each day without relying on the industrial systems of production and distribution.

Our techniques build an increasingly self-sufficient human settlement. Playa Viva, from Nature Preserve to Edible Landscaping, is built on these principles under the direction of a team of trained permaculture experts.

Eco-Friendly Products
Playa Viva is being created with a judicious and creative use of local materials which will be recycled, salvaged, and eco-friendly. Furniture will be created by local artisans using leftover wood. New woods will be harvested from local palm tree groves and sustainably-managed forests. Up to 75% of construction waste will be recycled.

Your children's health and wellbeing is paramount to our designs and every element of Playa Viva. Nothing provides more luxury than healthful and natural materials
