Playa Viva Website Helps Visitors Explore Sustainability
Zihuatanejo, Mexico (November 12, 2007) -- Playa Viva announces launch of its new website at www.playaviva.com providing visitors with a virtual window into the sustainability and design features of its eco-resort and community located just 30 minutes south of the Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. From amazing photos to vivid descriptions of surrounding landscapes to first-person accounts of turtle releases, the website draws visitors in to the unique world of Playa Viva.
"Reading online journal posts from visitors describing newly released turtles or from team members explaining the use of healthy building products creates a true sense of community," said David Leventhal, the project's founder. "Website visitors can interact with our site's rich history, its connection to the local community, and its impressive restoration work."
Playa Viva sets a new standard for environmental excellence and is designed to revitalize and nurture the land it's built on and the surrounding community. Its founders, David Leventhal and Sandra Kahn, recognize the interconnectedness between the health of the greater community, the health of the land, air and water, and the overall well being and enjoyment of guests. David and Sandra also founded Casa Viva Troncones, a popular B&B located 30 minutes north of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa and Rainforest2Reef, a preserve in Mexico's Yucatan peninsula protecting over 350,000 acres of jaguar habitat.
