Michel is an architect based in Tepoztlan, Mexico, specializing in ecological design and building. His designs, including our unique tree houses, have helped Playa Viva harmonize with nature. For over 20 years, his firm has constructed hotels, schools, restaurants and private residences throughout Mexico, including Casa Viva Troncones. Michel uses natural and recyclable materials, renewable energy, and natural comfort controls. Born in Mexico City, Michel has lived and practiced in Israel, Denmark, and India.
