We are so happy to have found this lovely eco-resort. Playa Viva is doing everything right, from managing resources, staff, community and guests. We can't wait to come back.

We had a perfect visit -- swimming, walking, bird-watching, yoga classes, and true relaxation. David & Sandy have created a perfect environment at Playa Viva, and the human dynamics are as meaningful as the nature experiences! Great staff, great social values, and stunning scenery make for a wonderful soothing getaway.

It is really hard to put into words how beautiful Playa Viva is; truly a piece of art. The attention to detail is incredible from the decor to the service to the delectable food. The entire staff sees to it that all of your needs are met beyond expectation. Playa Viva is an absolute gem and a must go to for eco-minded, nature lovers.

David and Sandra have put together something above and beyond anything I have experienced before. You get a beach to yourself, the place is elegant and luxurious, the design is spectacular - and you also get an education in sustainability, reforestation, permaculture in a really pleasant way. The rigors of the nap schedule and fine meals suited me too - I feel like a human being again after having become a zombie from working too hard.
